Programming a custom indicator which finds stocks that completed bullish candlestick patterns on last day’s close helps me sort stocks in the Ninja Trader market analyzer, in case I am looking to buy stocks. The indicator compares highs and lows of previous candlesticks with the last candlestick. Average True Range (ATR) and Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicators are also used inside the indicator’s [...]

Free online stock quotes is necessary when you start stock trading and Ninja Trader has been the best trading software up to now. Delivering End of Day (EOD) historical data for free when combined with Kinetick service cuts a new trader’s costs to the minimum, until they gain experience and knowledge experimenting with stock charts. Apart from being regarded as one of the best trading platforms, [...]

As I have cancelled my Esignal subscription due to high cost, I gave NinjaTrader another go as far as US stock trading concerns. Given the fact there isn’t any free real time data vendor, Kinetick offers free End of Day data for position and longer-term trading than day trading. I’m quite satisfied by their free service, although I have pointed out some false numbers and charts, especially when [...]

Esignal increases both monthly price and annual pre-paid rate of their charting software next month and I wonder which subscription offers most value for money. I have been an Esignal customer for the last 2 months and the next subscription billing is in 10 days, so I have to make a decision soon. The new subscription fees effective December 1 mean a price increase of $4 for the monthly subscription [...]

Being a customer of Interactive Brokers and trading using their Java-based charting software soon led me to subscribe to Esignal. Although their service is pricey, I no longer have to wait for the charts to populate or re-login after the Java applet crashes. It saves me time and access to the specific US stock charts is done in a couple of seconds. In addition, there is real time data covering the [...]

Choosing the right futures trading software is vital because it can play a huge part in how successful you are as a trader. Ninja Trader, a powerful stock trading technical analysis charting software, and Betfair, the leading sports betting exchange, can now be combined to help sports traders predict odds movements. Technical analysis has been difficult to be applied in Betfair graphs and traders have been using third-party trading software to plot technical analysis indicators. Now Quantsports fills the market gap as the [...]

Trader Workstation is the stock trading software of Interactive Brokers, my online stock broker. While I was stock trading yesterday, I video recorded the order management window for about half a minute to show you how a portfolio looks like while trading. The order management window of the trading software includes all stocks and currency pairs I had traded, showing long and short orders, bid and [...]

Bfexplorer Pro and BetAngel Pro are well known Betfair trading platforms. These pieces of Betfair trading software offer enough features for the most experienced Betfair trader, such as a trading ladder, quick refresh times and one-click betting. I have been a BetAngel Pro user for many years and decided to make a video of both trading platforms showing the same horse race betting odds along with the [...]

I am using a multi-monitor setup for online trading with Interactive Brokers Trader WorkStation or TWS in short. The stock trading software allows you to open many stock charts and windows at the same, taking advantage of the desktop space. By trying to make the most out of it while day trading, all 4 monitors display trading graphs, account and quote information. Starting from the first monitor on [...]

Most of traders at Interactive Brokers use third party charting software for their trading graphs. I thought that Interactive Brokers’ platform was good enough to trade but apparently traders find it easier to trade using bar or line graphs of NinjaTrader, AmiBroker or Sierra Chart. These are 3 of the most popular pieces of charting software to accompany an Interactive Brokers account. Tradestation [...]
