After the recent US online poker Black Friday, Bwin/Partypoker’s stock (BPTY) is trading 30% up in the London Stock Exchange. At the time of writing PartyPoker’s stock is trading at £173 per share, a huge boost of Friday’s £131 close. I didn’t do that well day trading the S&P 500 US stocks yesterday. Although I picked winners such as LVS and SLB stock, I failed to make money from one of my major stock picks, XOM. Looking for entry points both as breakouts and in trend lines, in the end my trading account showed a loss. If only I had picked out COST stock in my watch list. When I thought of buying the NVDA stock, I sort of expected a strong uptrend, but a 20% increase of the stock price in 2 weeks was certainly welcome. Buying the stock at $10 mark was based on technical analysis’ indicators alone, that were applied in stock charts of different timeframes. Chevron Corp, a corporation dealing with oil and natural gas, saw their share prices close at 79.25 yesterday, after opening at 79.50 which was exactly the previous 3-month high on August, 10. The daily CVX stock chart shows the stock price to fluctuate in a trading channel the last 12 months between 67.50 and 82.50. According to Yahoo Finance, all major European indices are rising indicated by their green color. Significant stock prices that is worth mentioning are BARC stock at London Stock Exchange top performing the FTSE100 (+6.35% now) followed by LLOY stock which stands for the LLOYDS Banking stock (+4.59% now).
